MOD DOLLS

As most people know I totally love MOD stuff, and back awhile ago a friend of Mine told Me about these super cool mod dolls from the 60’s that are highly collectible, and once I saw them I completely fell in love with them. They were SO cute I decided I needed a bunch of them, including like all this furniture, their studio apartment set, boutique set, pageant, and dance club. Not to mention, oodles of mod clothes, hangers, accessories, pets, handbags, etcetcetc. Basically everything you can imagine. So freddy ended up spending hundreds of dollars getting all the stuff I wanted. ha.

PLUS all their clothes were made by famous fashion designers, like that was apparently part of the whole appeal of them.. so the outfits are very detailed with little buttons and neat materials and stuff. In fact, the company spent so much on having their designer clothes made that they ended up going bankrupt from it ! So the dolls were only made for a little while, and now they sell for quite a bit of $$ because there are a lot of collectors.

ANYWAY! I came up with this super funny idea, to make an animated video of the dollies talking about abusing freddy voodoo doll.. LOL! OMG I had so much fun making it, I was laughing SO MUCH!!  I shot all the sequences and then made like opening credits and closing credits featuring a clip from freddys theme song ‘Pincushion’. I recorded all the things I wanted them to say, and put it altogether.. its SO CUTE! Click on the image below to go see the vid!
